Default Can someone please identify this block?

I came across this on Pinterest but not of the clicks lead back to the originator (or it's an old pin). Do you know the name of this block? I love the colors used, the sashing and everything about it. Thanks.

I'd like to know also. It's beautiful but I bet it's not too difficult.

I think it is called friendship block. I found it in a book that I have called Block Party by Marsha McCloskey

In the Ladies' Art Company Block Tool it is called 'Roman Cross'.

Roman Cross it is! Thank you, Sharon. Margaret, I may be mistaken but I believe the friendship block has a blank white rectangle in the center so friends can sign it. Thank you both for your suggestions.

I just checked again and you are correct. The center is neutral in color, but otherwise utilizes the same construction

I'll check it out, Christine. I love Moda fabric and patterns.

I think it's Paisley Prairie by Moda. Or Prairie Paisley. Beautiful! A jelly roll pattern with the red sashing in yardage?
