Right. and the cams slip in on the bottom. the ends of the button hole can be straight or round like the die shape on the back of each cam. adjust the width of the stich on the buttonhole with the numbers on the side of the plastic box, i believe.

I haven't seen one of those in years. It a button hole maker. My Mom had one with her 401 singer machine. That is what I learned to sew on! :o)

I have a old Domestic sewing machine. I don't know from what year. I think the 40's or 50's. I got it at a yardsale a few years ago for a whappin $20 in a wooden desk and all.
Anyways, if you cannot find the info you need I have the manual for the buttonhole worker for this which I'm sure its about the same. I can make copies and send them to you.

A buttonholer - I have one of those - wonder how much mine would go for on E-Bay - it is about 50+++ years old - machine is in a "beautiful" blonde cabinet and all the attachments are in a box. Don't make them like they used to!!

Did you recieve a book with your machine? If you didn't go to your nearest singer or Brother sewing machine shop in your area and they will show you how. I found parts to my mother's machine that I did not understand that they help me with it.
