I paid $75 ea for 2 Singers that are in coffin cases IMOH cabinets are worth more. It seams to be the going rate for these machines here in Midland. I like all but #3 &#4. I wish you lived closer!

WOW! You have some pretty nice machines. Most all are fixable. Here is a connect to a website that fixes and sends sewing machines to missions. http://www.tfsr.org/publications/tec...achine_manual/ My suggestion would be so sell some of them to pay for shipping for the ones that can be sent to missions. The info is how to donate and everything you need to know to make the repairs. There are plenty of on line sources for parts for those machines. The 3rd and 4th ones aren't as nice as all of the rest. Quite a few of them could be treadled.

The white table with the crackled finish was made in 1955 as a promotion item. There were several different bright colors to choose from. I worked for the factory who made them in K.C.,Mo. If I lived closer I would buy the machines only to get the cabinets. The cabinet with the Necchi sitting in it was made by the same company as well as the cabinet partially viewed in the rear. This makes me feel happy but sad. My family owned the company and 1955 was the year the factory was moved to Ar. So many years have passed, factory closed and everyone passed except a younger brother and myself. Tried for years to find an early Parsons cabinet and these are the first I have seen.

Numbers 8 and 9 are definately worth money. They are Singer Featherweights and sell for over $200 on eBay. Shipping cost should not exceed $30. (I know because I recently bought one from eBay).

Sorry but the two Singers are NOT Featherweights. Featherweights are almost NEVER in a cabinet - they did have a little table that is sometimes found or the card table. They are probably Model 15s. However, they are definitely worth money.

No, I don't believe these Singers are featherweights. According to http://sandman-collectibles.com/id-singer-machines.htm the first one should be a 201-2 made in 1952. The second one may be a 15-90 or 15-91 made in 1955. I'm no expert in vintage machines, so somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct - they are anything but light weight but are both really good machines.
