[QUOTE=Canada Kate;4749692]Numbers 8 and 9 are definately worth money. They are Singer Featherweights and sell for over $200 on eBay. Shipping cost should not exceed $30. (I know because I recently bought one from eBay).[

I stand corrected. Thanks to the 10+ people who have previously posted the same information providing the correct identification of these machines on this thread. I am contantly impressed with the depth of knowledge on this board and I'm learning a lot.

Do not throw these away. Sell them or give them away to people who will fix and use them. DH and I buy machines like that all the time and bring them back to running order to use. They are the best, easy to fix and maintain and normally have all metal parts.

I hate to see serviceable machines scrapped.

The two Singers are Centennial machines not featherweights. i have two of them and they are much heavier than a Featherweight which I have 1 of. I would give them away or try to sell them but not trash them. I sure someone would want them.
