    I've seen some nice ones using dollar store frames, cookie cutters or small jam jars for the base. Also those small dvds would make a nice flat base. I go to a lot of yardsales and pick up candle holders to use too.

    How cute....like all of them but I think my favorites are the owl and the tea pot.

    wow some really great pincushions. i don't collect them but certainly enjoy looking at all of the wonderful creative ones others come up with. i made an owl one that i fell in love with so that's the one i use. i have received some in swaps and i have created some for other swaps. i am creating some christmas themed pincushions and a panda pincushion for upcoming swaps. will post those pics once i complete them.

    these are so cute. Pincushions are one of the one things, I've never thought about making.
