    I didnt know it truly was a guess.. I could see the inside looked to be melted. It takes alot of heat to melt metal. So from that I thought ...heat....coals...iron? Makes me feel good that I got that right because in an early post today you had to find the man in a bunch of coffee beans, it took me about 10 minutes and you should be able to find him in less than a minute or your brain doesnt work. My brain I guess is just geared for sewing not finding a man!...LOL

    OK, did I miss it somehow? Where did this originate? What a unique thing to have just to look at and maybe appreciate our Rowentas more, even if they leak.

    Same premise as the old english bed warmer, but without the lid...(iron)must be a wonderful collector's item. Lucky you.
