Default Can you name this pattern?

Today at guild, one of the members showed a gorgeous batiks quilt during Show and Tell. It is a pattern we have all seen, but I don't know the name. It is so simple, you could probably design your own. The blocks were slightly rectangular with a slim wedge of a contrasting color sewn on one or two sides. When assembled with the wedges in the center, it forms a star-like design. Beautiful! Does this sound familiar to anyone? Sorry I don't have a photo - have no idea how to look it up without a name. Ha! THX

Debra, I think that's it! THX so much. I had to stare at it a moment as the lady's quilt today was in equal value batiks with no gradation. It knew it had to be something "star".

not really. Just on my mind lately.
I've been contemplating something similar yet different.
