I think it is a stack and slash quilt. You stack several layers of complimentary colors and make 4 cuts. Next, move the bottom colors to the top, sew, and repeat the process by continually moving the pieces around. That is a pretty quilt in the picture, except for the border--not to my taste.

Still love the quilt and waiting for someone to let us know where it can be purchased. How wide do you think the sashing is?? I am thinking this quilt could easily be drawn out on graph paper but was wondering how wide the sashing should be. I agree with everyone-----the border fabric is not desirable at all. Especially for the fabrics used in the quilt.
