    I took a class once where the owner of a shop showcased the accucutter. Even she said that it is not really cost-effective to get one and she would not recommend it for the single quilter. She offers the use of one for a nominal fee at the store (and it was nominal). Can you check if a store in your neighborhood offers the same service?

    But I bet the one at the store is the Accuquilt Studio, which is more marketed toward shops and is a LOT more expensive.

    Yes, thats a good thought....both the LQS that I go to have the GO there for customer use for a small fee. I might try that to see what all the fuss is about!
