What a beautiful blessing,Sewing will wait. When momy has rested and baby is sleeping then you can get back to sewing. Every moment of loving that baby will probably ALMOST make you forget sewing. I said Almost,
    God Bless you

Oh you have a precious one there!

When my own two were little I didn't seem to have any trouble getting things done. BUT... now when the grandboys come over ... seems all I do is be with them. They are now three - cousins, not brothers - born 8 months apart.

For a while - maybe an hour - I can sew while they play at my sewing table - it's a dining room table and I keep things that can only be played with there. It adjoins the living room where there's a piano and an electric keyboard. So ... if I'm on a deadline I can do a little.

But ... cooking and sewing can wait till tomorrow ... I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep. I don't remember the rest of that poem, but ... it's my motto and I'm sticking with it!

Holding a baby is the best feeling in the world to me. Enjoy him now, he'll be way too "busy" in a few very short years...

Oh what a precious time, I was just telling my hubby today that I miss holding babies. Mine are 3 and 6 and fortunately like to cuddle but there's nothing quite like a baby. Enjoy!!!

I could...before she got so fast I have to run to catch her. Now, she has learned to unlock doors and fence gates. Can't take my eyes off her for a minute!
