She hasn't asked my advice and sort of resented advice I gave her earlier..

If she doesn't ask, I would not offer.

Someone I know used it as backing on a guy quilt and it was so heavy and stiff feeling. The longarmer said no more for her as it was hard to quilt.

My first quilt was made with left over corduroy scraps from sewing garments. I had all the different wales colors and prints. The corduroy made a wonderful quilt so worked great piecing guess it would be great for backing as well.

I used it for a backing. It did make a very heavy quilt. I tied the quilt as the weight was so much more than my shoulders could handle in my regular machine.

I have used a fine wale corduroy on the back of a lap quilt. It worked fine, actually kept the quilt from sliding off.
