    I have that machine and love it! Many other board members have it, too, so you'll be able to get any questions answered quickly.

    My Daughter has that machine and she loves it. It is a straight stitch only machine. If you sew already you will not need lessons. My DD uses it for pieing and quilting.

    I have the Brother 1500. There is a yahoo group just for that machine and many posters here have the machine. If you have any question about it just ask. The only problem I had was the needle coming unthreaded when using the auto cutter. I quit threading the three hole bar at the top ( just used the first hole as a guide) and the problem was solved.
