You need to bring him to JoAnn's every time you go. Maybe, he'll find something else you need. Ha!Ha! Great hubby!

Congratulation I'm sure you are going to love it and have lots of fun learning all the new things to sew with it.
    Happy birthday early.

I have a Brother SC9500 and have really enjoyed it. The needle threader has broken, which is a really nice feature for my old eyes but I will get it replaced.

I have been quilting since Feb this year, or I should say piecing. I am taking an online class to learn to quilt on a small machine. My old machine has some decorative stitches and I am not interested in embroidery at this time. Those are the reasons I chose the straight stitch with the larger harp. I did do the quilting on quilts for my
GGks for Christmas and realized the larger opening in the Brother would really be an asset.

You are so smart on your own to have figured out what you know you would like in a new machine. And so lucky to have such a sweetie as your better half. Congratulations. Happy birthday, then Happy New Year.....
