I love mine and they will more than likely have to pry it from my cold dead fingers. The bobbin is a nuisance, where it is situated and difficult to get it back in with my gnarled old fingers, but I cut that problem way down by using pre-wounds which have light weight thread, like bottom line, and they last so much longer. I have not regretted buying this machine for one single day.

I have that machine also, for a few weeks now. And you are right, the bobbin is difficult to get back in for my wide hands. But then, I haven't had much practice yet. It will get easier. I was surprised to find that you thread the needle from the left side, not from the front. I find it is easy to do, though.
I love this machine, especially the harp space.

Enjoy your new machine, birthday girl! You have a keeper for a husband! How nice of him to do this.
