Can't believe it...DH did it!
I am so excited, DH went with me to pick up some batting at Jo-Anns and saw the sewing machines and decided I should have a new machine. I have been using an older machine I inherited from my Mom. After researching for the features I want and the $ amount I can afford, I ordered the Brother 1500s, it should be here the 1st week in January. I should say that my birthday is December 31, so a great birthday gift.

What a sweet hubby you have. I own that machine. While I haven't used it a lot all the others here that have it say they love it!! I do know it's a very sturdy, straight stitch only machine and can go FAST. I just wish I could see when the bobbin is running out of thread ahead of time before it runs out of the thread.

You will love it, it is a workhorse! It has no fancy stitches, but is very speedy and has a nice sized harp space to FMQ your quilts. I have even used mine to mend hubby's jeans, it didn't miss a stitch. Enjoy!
