Use your printer and print a page of each fabric. Then cut the block out of the paper pieces and try them before you cut into the fabric. I would use the stripe but in smaller pieces as it is quite outstanding.

With the purple and the stripe for the binding. It is the Artistic choice.

I'd use the purple in the four patch. Then I would cross cut the stripes (like a keyboard) and use them as a narrow first border. Do you have enough purple to do last border and binding? that gets my vote.

I am not a big fan of mixing whites and creams in the backgrounds but thats just me!!! Be sure to let us know what you decide!!!

try laying fabrics as if its a large block - pyt your other blocks next to it and put floral next to whichever blocks it will be up against If alternating blocks spread floral fabric out large enough to fold bloick fabrics to look like your square and then place your other squares below. If print fabric is spread out enough you should be able to see it on both sides of your layout which gives you a better idea of how it will look (just a suggestion)
This is a great suggestion and I'm going to try both ideas! The WOW is a bright white - which would be ok with the floral but might be too bright with the stripe.

I also like the idea of printing the fabrics and playing with them that way.

Risky for me, too. At this ponit in my life, I tell myself to "Go for it." The other choice is pretty, too. :)

I like the risky version. I also like the idea of changing out that other fabric and putting in the purple.
Now, we really have you confused. :-)
