    How about a third option. Take out the light blue and add the purple and the stripe! It will be awesome, especially with a white on white added.

    Or... get rid of either the green or yellow, which look quite a bit alike, and use the purple and the stripe. Double risky - that would be my style!!

    I would definately use that stripe in the quilt, it is terrific. I think I would try to use it as a narrow border of some kind or as the binding. I like the look of diagonal stipes in the binding.

    I personally like the purple without stripes the best, but am sure either would be beautiful.

    You could alternate between the stripes and the purple and use them both in the lap quilt along with the other colors you have chosen.

    Personally, I wouldn't use the stripe. The purple might be a better choice.

    Could you use the Stripe for a Border around your Safer choice? I love that purple, but love the stripe too.

    M-m-m-m. Could you use both? I like the purple but the blue doesn't work for me without the stripe.........
