It's quite striking as is. My only concern is that it looks like your straight line quilting is up to 2" apart while the feathered parts are much closer together. The minimum I would do is add a bit more quilting around the border to give it some more strength (density should be halfway between most densely quilted part & least densely quilted part).
Personally, I'd add more quilting throughout. I have a quilt that is really quite similar & it drove me crazy. In spite of having an intense desire to just light the thing on fire so I never had to see it again, I decided to add more quilting & am happy that I did. It looks nicer & is much sturdier because it has a pretty consistent density of quilting across the entire quilt. That's totally unnecessary unless you are wanting to create a family heirloom. The quilt that I did it for was for my niece/goddaughter so I kinda wanted it to last her a lifetime (or at least 50 years, until the threads themselves start to crackle and breakdown).

My personal feelings are that I prefer "less is more" philosophy. Sometimes, I feel that there is too much quilting & that seems to take away from the beauty of the quilt itself. I love the designs I see on quilts but I often think that simpler is better because it lets the beauty of the top as well as the quilting take center stage. That's my humble opinion.
