Default Be Careful What Words You Use

I was not convincing of the usefulness of the computer with the first results (LOTS of results) that turned up when I volunteered to google a recipe for my mom to use teaching her elementary sunday school class. She planned to make "Hot Cross Buns"...

ROTFLMBO - hasn't happened to me in quite awhile. I had forgotten how easy to find 'things' you weren't looking for.

Thanks for the laughs after my night of studying for two tests tom., umm, today.

Don't do research on breast feeding either! Kinda sad that things have gone so far wrong.

Whenever I go by the store you are referring to, I wonder if they deliberately used a name that is a nasty pun. After all, the guy was probably named Richard, and that is his nickname. Maybe it appeals to the kind of guys they want to attract for sporting goods...LOL (Hope I don't get sued for slander here.)

I just looked down on my screen, and see an ad for Male See Thru - Explore 200+ underwear items. Underwear BizRate. So this forum uses Ads by Google to find stuff the computer thinks we are interested in, depending on what we say in posts. Wow! I know Facebook does that, but thought QB sold ads to quilting theme companies.

That's nothing compared to what my son innocently googled a few years back. The results were shocking. Luckily he's an honest boy and came running to get me for assistance.

I was looking for the "Strip Search" quilt pattern several years ago and that brought up some very interesting results!!!

I have had similar difficulties. Sometimes you can narrow the search by typing "knitting pattern booties" or "boxer dog fabric" or some such, but it doesn't always eliminate the irrelevant results.
