I have seen someone here use a Carpenters wheel for their avatar. Only this carpenters wheel is extended with another few rows, creating an outer wheel.

Now I am looking for it, I cant find it - can someone please direct me to a pic of this avatar, as I want to copy it. I dont need directions if I have the pic as I am fairly confident that I will be able to make it from a pic.

    Tia, Mo

Danmar has one in the tutorials. Is that the right one? You can go up to the top, click search and type in carpenters wheel to see what is out there.

Thanks. I made it for my sister's 50th birthday. The bras are padded.

You can find a nice example if you look up the block at Quilter's Cache. I made one using a photo from page 2.

My avatar is a carpenter's wheel variation. But it may not be the one you are looking for.

Just so you know but maybe can't tell from the picture, it is all squares and half square triangles. Very Easy to do.

This page has the free pattern for the smaller Carpenter's Wheel and the larger one:

    http://www.quiltfrog.com/fourhourquiltclass.html

I used the directions and really enjoyed making the large one with the extra ring as a center medallion. Now I just need to figure out what to put around it....
