casserole tote one piece pattern
Hi There
I want to make a casserole tote that is only one piece (looks like a cross) I saw one awhile ago and now I can't find it. I have been checking the internet for the last hour and can't find it. (of course). I thought it would be easier to make (for a shower gift for my son's fiancé) Hope someone can help.

I can think of two types.
1) A rectangle with corners cut out and tied together (looks like a cross before it's tied) that forms a hot pad around the casserole dish. It would be made to fit a single size casserole
2) Same as above with longer sides to use as handles. The photo I saw had wooden spoons used as handles.
Here's one that uses dowels

Here's one that holds a wooden spoon.

there are plenty more if you google "casserole carrier tutorial"
