Oops!!! Just relax, take a jug..(oops, I meant dainty small glass) or wine in there with you and enjoy petting all the little ones while you put them away.

My DGD got into my fabric at Christmas and knocked over two piles - then walked away - she's 21! I found it a couple of days later - small in comparison to your problem but I urrrrd for a while.

As you clean up you might find many old treasures. Think positive.

This sounds like one of those, "make lemonade out of lemons" situation. I enjoy reorganizing because I reconnect with my supplies. Most of my supplies, i.e. fabrics are in places that are, "put away" and I need to go through everything once in a while. Good luck. Wish I could help!

Check to see if your floors are level before putting the drawers up again. We live in an older home with wood floors. I've noticed several things leaning more than they should. I just hope the 8' bookcase my husband built doesn't decide to take a tumble. Since we live in a rented house anchoring things to the wall isn't an option.

If your 'stash' dates back as far as mine does, you will discover things you forgot you even had.

I neatened my room after I finished my last christmas project. I made room to quilt it and that is what I've been working on----until today.
I just "HAD" to make a funky chicken....now my room looks like a bomb went off!LOL.....

Sandpat, you were right the first time. I think this is a "jug-sized" mess--still working on it a bit at a time. DH just returned home from rehab (2nd stroke & other health problems). He's doing well, but he's also keeping me busy. I think he got thoroughly spoiled in the hospital and rehab. center.
