I am working on a Cathedral Window quilt. (My late aunt taught me how to do it.) I also took a class in Hawaiian quilting, last year, on my last day on Maui!
This is the only knowledge I have of quilting. I enjoy the hand quilting. I don't get along with a sewing machine AT ALL!!
Are there other patterns, like Cathedral Window, which make a completed quilt without having to machine sew?

You can make a quilt totally by hand... my grandmother did all hers that way. She pieced, appliqued, quilted... everything.. by hand.

Any pattern can be hand quilted...no machine additives needed. So pick one and go for it. Hand quilting is so relaxing. :-)
