I am looking for a pattern for the Catwalk Quilt by Jinny Beyer. any idea where I can find that? other than her site. shipping to Canada is $35-40 for a $14 quilt pattern. any help would be appreciated.

It could be that the automated postage "guesser" went wild.
By dealing with a real person you may get a sensible shipping rate.

That is horrible...have you tried eBay? I got some patterns from there for Christmas. Some stores offer free shipping if you buy a certain amount. I don't know if that will help you.

I just hopped on the website and they have revisions to the pattern available as a download. You can try contacting them and see if you can get the entire pattern itself as a download .pdf file.

I also agree with QuiltE that you should give them a call because shipping for a pattern at $35 when it is simply sent in an envelope (possibly an oversized envelope but an envelope just the same) should only be a few dollars. I realize that many shipping charges are prorated to include the handling to pay for an employee to pull the merchandise and package it up but $35-$40 is insane.

I received an email from Jinny's site saying they are having problems with the site. Call them - they are wonderful to deal with.
