    Beautiful choices. Not a panel fan but you did well. I like the last border. It draws the eye out to the full expanse of the piece.

    Well just to put everyone's mind at rest, I decided not to use the paisley. It was just too busy. I also intend to "draw " fairies in the borders and cameo them with something fancy. With that in mind the paisley was a waste of time and would detract from the quilting. So I dove in today, with luck and a strong back it should be done this weekend. I'll let you know.

    I love that panel!! It will make a great wall hanging as is. But, if you want to turn it into a lap quilt or bed quilt, maybe a border of 4 patches then another solid border and then a piano key border followed by another solid border. Go for it!!

    Looking forward to seeing how this goes...some of us cannot just draw in a few fairies and will watch from the sidelines
