I would make a block or quilt I wanted and then find a song to match. I love the website paperprincess provided. Many ideas popped into my head. I would not do all that work for something I didn't like or couldn't use. That's why I would do one I wanted first and then choose the song. Call me lazy and selfish!

OK, it is time to clear this up, especially if one is going to make a quilt of this. Is the flying people eater, the color purple? Or is this a flying people eater (of unspecified color) that eats purple people?

But I must say the above suggestion of flying purple people eater put an instant visual in my head that made me giggle.[/QUOTE]

Now these two songs really date me. I remember when my younger first cousin's favorite song was "How Much Is That Doggie In The window", she was only two. "A White Sportscoat and a Pink Carnation by Marty Robbins was one of my mother's favorite songs.
