My WM eliminated the fabric dept but put in a whole row of precuts.
They now have 2yd precuts for 7 dollars, 100 charm packs for 10 dollars, fat quarter packs for 12 dollars.
They have lots of kits and other precuts.
    fats are one dollar.
So far I havnt found any fabric I want but did find some fats to buy, these were the same fabric I had bought at Joanns before.
They have a clearance section in the store and I found a
    Sidewinder for 12 dollars.
I hope they get a better selection of fabric cuts as what they carry are not my style. Lots of solids and childrens prints so far.
At least they havnt completly eliminated fabric.

Ours has about 15 pillowcase kits. That is it along with a meager collection of threads and buttons.

I went to a new remodel Walmart I didn't find any fabric for quilting. I was very disappointed with their selection.

Ours had jelly rolls, now they don't LOL But they do have FQ's, 2 yd cuts pkgs, some charm sqs... It is like they are trying out different packaged items to see what does and doesn't sell...

But they keep them one aisle over from the fabrics in the craft section  Not everyone goes to that aisle, and so they go unnoticed there...
