Has anyone made a piece with 8 pockets for Chanukah gifts?
I am thinking about making something for a friend.

I made one for my boss last year. I did it kind of like an advent calendar with appliques of dreidels on it.

I'm not sure if I have a picture or not, will look!

That would be so cool. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

    Dotty,

Do you have any interest in some Chanukah fabric?

Many years ago (with the best intentions) I purchased some to make something for my Poppa (maternal grandfather...he was my mom's step-dad, but the only dad she ever knew. long story but he was jewish, my nanna catholic and kids raised catholic but honored his religion and so on. unfortunately, i never got around to it and he passed away this year at two days after his 98th b'day (out lived my mom & her brother).

I would love to for it to go to a good home, be used and enjoyed by someone. Plus I was born and raised in upstate NY the first 25 years of my life :) I'm just a TX transplant now.

Let me know...I'll be happy to pull it out and send it out.

My daughter has switched to the Jewish Faith. I'm most interested in seeing pictures of what everyone has made or is making. I (think) I have a pattern for a Star of David wallhanging. I'm collecting blue and Chanukah fabrics, and can't wait to start on this.

    Sweetness, where in upstate NY?

I just made some little dreidls. I'll put 8 on a garland for little gifts for our friend.

    Made from a 4 1/2 x 6" rectangle.

I was born and raised in Rotterdam, NY (about 12 miles outside of Albany). My dad worked at GE.
