    I love the ice cream suggestion, but it is kind of hard to take along with you to appointments and such without it melting in this heat. I usually crochet doilies.

    I love your UFO. I have one of those UFO's like yours but done as much as yours. It takes a long time but I know it will be worthwhile when it is completed. Yes, it is a good take along project. I have to get mine out to work on this summer, forgot all about it. Thanks for reminding me. Sally

    a stress free "no-brainer"! Maybe embroidery or some other form of needlework. Something small and easy to pick up or put out of the way. Good Luck!

    Like many of you, I work on some hand quilting or binding when things get crazy. It's comforting and I can do it in my comfy chair.
