Charity quilts for Riley Hospital
#1
We just got home from a check up with transplant dr (hubby) and everything is doing great. While I was there (Indiana University Hospital), I walked over to Riley Children's Hospital and dropped off 2 quilts for distribution through their charity organization. I got the tour of their facility and was amazed to learn that they give away 11,000 quilts/blankets yearly, to the patients at both hospitals! Looks to me like I am gonna have to get busy. The 2 I finished are just a drop in the bucket. If I look at it as an excuse to make more quilts and practice my FMQ, then the hubby can't be complaining coz all I do is make quilts!

I just finished my first quilt. Not my first quilt top, just the first quilt that is completely done including the binding. My Dh helped me connect the binding at the end. I tried to post pictures of it and two other projects that were BDay gifts for my Mom. I tried a few times and they wouldn't post. Anyway, the finished quilt is going to go to Ronald McDonald House. There is one nearby. :)
