    Charm Block.....Has anyone heard of this block? I have been surfing the net with no luck. :(
    A nurse from work is looking for this pattern to make one with her mother. Any help would be appreciated...I know if anyone can help me, you can!! :-D

    The charm quilts I have seen use "charm packs"
    Is this what you are talking about?

    Charm is the size of a piece of fabric , usually 5 inches... so a charm quilt would just be a quilt made using this size of blocks , maybe

    Another definition I've heard - all the pieces are the same shape, and every piece is a different fabric.

    A charm block is a fabric packet of assorted 5 in squares.
    A charm quilt is a scrappy quilt with no two fabric pieces the same. Or at least that's what I was always told.

    You should be able to make a wall hanging or small throw from a charm packet.
