Charm squares - straight or pinked?

Charm squares - straight or pinked?
Do you prefer your charm squares (cut at 5 inch square - 4.5 inch finished size) to have straight cut edges or "pinked" edges?
Pinked seemingly unravel less, but straights give you more sewing room.
What's your opinion?

I'm so glad you pointed this out. I always thought the pinked looked so pretty, but I use my accuquilt GO to cut the 5" squares, so now I'm really happy with them. The pinked edges would be hard to keep straight.

I've always had pinked, and I don't mind them at all. I just pick either a point or a valley and sew them up. Never had any problem with the finished product. I must admit that at first I thought I was going to have problems but I was pleasantly surprised.

I don't think I have ever bought charm squares without pinked edges. I guess it is easier for the mfg. to process them that way. I would prefer straight edges but have not had problems with the pinked edges.
