I wanted to begin today, but the heat wave is interfereing with our power this week. We're having outages and half power sessions. I will begin Friday morning, God willing and the creek don't rise.

My thoughts were to have a morning chat, for those available, about subjects to be decided or just general chat of quilting. I'm an early riser usually, so thought a morning would be better. 9 to 10 or so. If the message show an evening time is better for more of you, then we'll rethink the plan.

The feeling I had was to not have it daily yet, only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leaving Boo with the Sunday afternoon time frame. How does this sound? I shared my willingness with Konstantin and he's going to share the news through the newsletter to everyone and I really hope we can get this going so that everyone gets to know one another and shares even more of our love of quilting.

I'll meet those available to share their thoughts on Friday morning, the 10th, at 9:00 AM. Hope to see you there!

    Sharon

i can't be there because i'm at work. HOWEVER, i hope lots of people take advantage of your generosity. If I happen to be off on one of the chat mornings, i will certainly try to drop by. :P

P.S. I'm not hinting for a change/addition of evening chats. By the time I get home, my poor little brain is fried. You couldn't count on me to participate ... unless my snoring online is acceptable to everyone else.

Snoozing online is acceptable! Sure was hoping my favorite expert would take on an evening or two of chat........would you think about maybe a Tuesday or Wednesday??? Just one evening to begin with? I know everyone would have lots to say to YOU!

well ... nothing like puttin' me on the spot!!!!

i would like to volunteer to moderate a regularly scheduled chat. the problem is that i often don't have any energy left after work and way too much to do in not enough time on the weekends. i'm afraid to make a commitment then let people down if i'm not up to the task at the appointed time.

for now, i need to not make promises i'm not sure i can keep. but, if i know i'm going to be off when you're chatting, i'll offer ahead of time to be on hand if there's some specific topic to which folks think i can contribute.

    ok?

Sharon, is that 6AM here in CA? What is you time difference? I think it is 3 hours. I will join you when I am up and my husband is not. Otherwise, I have coffee with him. He always leaves here by 8 and leaves me here alone. Boo hoo.

I can't make it either. I go to "Peppi" for an hour exercise program on M/W/F, 10-11. I go early and get in about 20-30 minutes of just walking before class. Have to keep the old "bod" moving.

I watch and see if another time is suggested. Suzanne

I will try and be there on Friday, like Norah am on the West coast and
I think there is a 3 hour time difference. So if I am up at 6 will sign in. :)

Didn't I read about an icon that will show if someone is in the Chat Room? I often check when I come to the forum, but never seem to catch anyone home.
