I landed on this blog while looking for something else, and boy oh boy!! Sharon Schamber is my quilting hero.

Make sure you go to page two after visiting page 1 - link at top of page. The pic's were taken at the Paducah show and she started these quilt blocks in FEBRUARY!!

I've met Sharon several times. She is friendly and generous with her knowledge. She is the only quilter that her work simply leaves me in awe. My DD shares the same birthday as Sharon. And she is a perfectionist. Everything she does she wants it to be as perfect as possible. I keep telling DD she needs to quilt, she could be another Sharon Schamber!

I wonder if that's going to be for Houston 2011 or Paducah 2012.

Although the entries had to be in back in June(?), and the finalist (accepted quilts) letters have already been sent out.

She is really amazing, and so nonchalant about it.

    Thanks for posting.

I am a total convert of her gluing binding method. She is an amazing artist as well as quilter.

    she is a master.

what i love is when people say "free motion quilting is only done without marking the quilt top" and i always point them to sharon's site if you notice these blocks are completely marked with her quilting designs and they are crazy if they don't consider her the free motion master.

her website and network is well worth the price - i've been a member for some time.
