    Janome (which I think makes Kenmore) has a mini version as well and not as expensive. I bet they are very comparable to this one, except you can only get them in white. Usually you can find them for about $39.99 on sale.

    Yes, my pink one is a Kenmore, but it is made by Janome, cause I've seen the same one in white up here with Janome written on it.

    What I meant was yes, it is made by Janome!!!

    now about those "baby" machines. Do they go through the terrible two's stage (my baby lock is almost 2, should I worry?) Do "baby" machines grow up to be ornery adolescents? BIG machines too heavy for travel? Is there a growth retardant spray to keep them in the "baby" stage? And by the way I love my baby lock. the old "adult" phaff 130 is sulking in the closet because it doesn't get used much anymore.

    I have had one of these for a couple of years---in blue----I even bought one for my dsil ( he is learning to quilt) I take it to classes and have never had a problem with it-----love it!
