For some of us with limited imagination and not much time, there are quite a few chicken quilt blocks on eBay. Hope this isn't cheating but I bought a set for the challenge. They're fused for applique. I figure it will be my quilt by the time I choose my fabric, add the sashing and borders, set the blocks and maybe add a few fancy stitches to the chickens. Anyway, this is the first challenge I'll be participating in so thought I'd make it as easy as possible.
