    I usually pick out a print or other design I want to use. I then pick out colors that are in there, picking out a total of 3-5-7 fabrics. I do them the same as I did flower arrangement.

    I think precut layer cakes would work well if you find a line that you like, that way you don't have to spend a lot of time coordinating fabrics

    One issue is that I don't love the fabric selection at the best quilt store near me (City Quilter). I'm going to see if they have the Kaffee fabrics in stock, but I may end up ordering them online, which has its risks, I know. But hey, it's always good to have more fabric, right?
