    For piecing I use what ever thread I want to use up. The only time I try to match is if I'm sewing white or black fabric.

    I use white, black and neutrals for piecing. I love to use varigateds for quilting though :D:D:D

    I am in with the gray group. It seems to never let you down. Quilt with whatever suits your fancy, but the grays for piecing always seem to work well

    smoky green also works well (the color of easter egg dye when all the colors have run together)
