yay!!!! I bought one in September. I love it. I love my BSR. I love, love, love the BSR. It has 2 modes - one where you control the pedal. The other one where moving the fabric controls the stitches. Cool, cool, cool. Check out Videos here if you don't have classes.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my post about my new machine I will definitely need to take the classes. Have any of you had to fool around with the tension with regular sewing. I'm very intimidated by tensions...hehe My Viking has a sensor that automatically adjusts it. I've never had to touch the tension so I hope I won't have to fool with it for just regular sewing.

You shouldn't need to fool with it for general sewing. In the instruction book it tells you where it should be set but there is also a red line oo the tension setting knob that is factory set for most sewing. I sometimes adjust both the top tension and the little screw on the bobbin for FMQ with different thread.
