When I have a large beautiful print, I like an asymmetrical setting. You can put a large piece, 36X48? on the left side and put an reverse L shape of smaller blocks with sashing on the right side and bottom of panel. I have seen it on this board? done with a beautiful asian crane panel.

Tartan had a great idea.....You also can use a portion of the fabric as a center medallion with borders and smaller blocks surrounding it. Post a pic when you decide what to do....good luck.

I think this pattern was called Sidelights and it is a wonderful design for any kind of panel. Put in Sidelights in the search feature. Good luck.
