    Default Christmas tree skirt pattern

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this board, but I love quilting and sewing. It's my passion next to gardening in the summer.
I'm looking for a pattern for a Christmas tree skirt. It has a star in the centre. The picture I've seen of the pattern is red and white. I've searched everywhere for it, On craftsy and martingale but just can't seem to locate it. Can anyone please help me?

Welcome to the board Eileenn. I think just a little information would be good. How big is the star? How long ago did you see it and can you remember where? I remember one done like a star in log cabin blocks done by thimbleberries.

Might it be a Star Log Cabin tree skirt?

That was the pattern DebraK, but I did find another pattern that was free. 😍 I'm quite anxious to get started. I am going to machine embroider Christmas patterns in the corner blocks.

Welcome to the board, Eileenn. Since I retired, I start my day with this board. Then move to MSQC and listen a couple of times to Jenny's duck and watch a tute.

Could you share the free one? I want to make one for each of my children out of their bridesmaid dresses and I think this pattern would work perfectly!

Bonus: I empty out a closet full of said bridesmaid dresses <3

What a great idea! I ended up with all the prom dresses, too. Sigh...

That's the trouble with having boys--no silky soft fabrics!
