That's a shame, I just was there July 4th weekend. I had an appt in New York and went to a couple of quilt shops in New York and New Jersey for their row x row patterns. It was a very nice shop, nice and open, bright and cheery.

This is sad news. If my local shop ever closes, I will have to move!

That's too bad that they are closing. I checked their website but nothing announced there?

Very sad. I bet you it was due to the rent increases that are happening with the value of property going up. I buy most of my fabrics from Fabric Shack (Ohio) and eBay.

Is Burlington, NJ too far for you? Olde City Quilts is fantastic.

City Quilter will keep their website. It looks like my Bee buddies will be taking some road trips!

I know it's not in your range, but there is also Pennington Quilt Works in Pennington, NJ. Very nice shop. Helpful staff; lots of fabrics; Bernina dealer. And Olde City Quilts in Burlington, NJ that someone else mentioned is a great shop as well.

I think Burlington is a possibility. I will need novelty prints for kids'holiday gift bags. One of us has a car.
What a loss! Thanks for the tip!
