    I was reading a blog last night (sorry don't remember the name) about this topic and in the remarks two other quilt shops in NYC were mentioned more than once. So there are other choices in NYC.

    There is the whole Garment District, but nothing devoted to quilts. Purl Soho, beautiful store, small selection. Pins and Needles, the same. Gotham Quilts, modern, small. Nothing like City Quilter. I wish someone would scoop in and buy the shop. My Bee likes Sew Right (Queens) for machine repairs. The owner is retiring but sold the store. The staff is staying.
    Oh well...
