Really nice room! I envy those of you who have windows in your rooms. My studio is in the basement and I have only a tiny, tiny window at the top of one wall that is about 16" X 24". Since I'm short, all I can see when I look out of it is a little bit of sky.
I really shouldn't complain, though, because I know many people don't have a dedicated space at all. I guess I'm half way between the two situations.
Anyway, enjoy your great new sapce!

One of these days, I will graduate from the dining room table to my own sewing room!

Until then, I will live vicariously through those of you who have already made the momentous leap!

Uh oh... the term "auxillary" means you already have another full-service sewing room somewhere else in the house. Are the sewing spaces taking over the house? LOL!! It looks like a great room. Very cozy. You'll have to show another picture in a few weeks when it's buried under with fabrics.

Wish I had two... my dining room is my sewing room right now, (between holidays!) However, my vintage machines are starting to take over the house.

I also have my granddaughers cradle and I have it loaded with fabric. Good storage.

Very cute - you can use the cradle for stash until the next grandbaby arrives.

Glad you can make it a fun room for yourself. I'm at the point that my fabric, unfinished projects, books, and everything I use to quilt and sew is taking over the closets, my bedroom and bookshelves. I really need my back porch closed up so I can get in there instead.

I'll take a pic when I have it set up. Okay, you talked me into it. Here are some pics of what it looks like now with most of the toys gone.
Have you considered having hubby build a cutting table which secures and grips over the headboard and footboard of the bed? Great area for layout and stand up against a wall when the kids come to visit
