I really need to clean out, too. Probably not to the extent that you have but still. I've bought fabric in speculation for too long. My guild makes comfort quilts so I'm going to set myself a goal. I'll make as many tops as I can this summer and the leftover fabrics that I bought on sale for just this purpose will go to the guild at the end of the summer. Sounds like a win, win to me!

ouch... make sure you put a sticky on the magazine cover that the patterns have been removed.
I did mark the mags that I took patterns from, and I was VERY nice and made sure I didn't remove any instructions that were on back of the pages that I needed (photocopied them)

I'm cleaning/decluttering my entire house! We have gotten rid of at a minimum of 3 truck loads of STUFF! (this isn't counting the countless bags I have sent to my brother for his boys-comforters, sheets, clothes etc.)

No quilting things though. I don't have a whole lot of that anyway. Just other things so that I will have room for my sewing things. :)

We went through the kids toys and gave away 2 HUGE leaf size bags, another big bag w/just Imaginex toys, castles etc, a truck load of DH and my clothes that we knew we were not going to wear. I didn't realize how much we really had. DH would say-I really like seeing you wear that-I'd say well, it's getting to small or I'm just not going to be wearing it so its got to go.

We are cleaning out closets, under beds, in behind everything. Its just got to go!!! Need to go back into the kids room and go through more toys and more of their clothes. With 5 kids you just accumulate a lot of stuff!

If we haven't used it and we realize we really aren't going to then it goes!

Yesterday we gave away a working portable dishwasher! My Dad gave us his new one that he had just bought before he bought his house. So, we passed on the giving. My Mamaw can use it now. ;)

What gave you the courage, impetus, strength to do it? Carolyn

If you turn the shelf over, it won't sag anymore.

I'm under alot of stress right now and one way I deal with stress is to clean. I have plans to do two closets, some drawers, and next weekend the garage. Oh, and the office is another whole day to do. Too much paper and old files. When I got divorced, I did the entire house, top to bottom including the attic.
