Ok now I am afraid to start a new project as I seem to make such a mess and my room is so nice now!! Can we do this once a month? Well I probably could but not without a push!!!

Hello, all. I'm moving along on my reorganizing efforts.
The bedrooms are being painted. The living room, dining room, baths are completed. Next is my sewing room.
DH just gave me a letter tray. I put it on a shelf adjoining my sewing table to hold all those little things that I knock over when I reach in to get something. Now I just slide the tray out and pick out what I need. Thought this to be a great idea. Hope it helps someone else.
My fabric shelves are being systematically color coded/organized. Projects are being boxed with the pattern in my $3 containers from WalMart.
A neighbor moved away and offered me and my quilting mentor/neighbor the use of her home for a quilting retreat for free. I am looking forward to this time of dueling sewing machiens.
Happy New Year to all.

Are you going to actually hold a quilting retreat?
Are we all invited?

I finally finished my organizing. At least for right now. I still need to get some of those plastic containers at Walmart to hold future projects. In the meantime, they're in one big Rubbermaid bin marked "Future Projects," isn't THAT smart? I want to get my g'daughter to take a couple of pictures, but she never has time to spend on it. Her new semester just started. Soon though, I hope.
The only problem is that I just received a package of new fabrics I bought at the year end sale on eQuilter. What do I do now? All this stuff has to be put away and I'm SO over the putting away of stuff. I think I'll just leave it on my cutting table and admire it for the time being. And that's how all this clutter began in the first place!
