    I use this method https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPaI...7sDesignStudio and either use the big binding clips you get from an office supply store or the quilt clamps she shows.

    Is it bad to suggest basting glue? 505. It is so simple to use, keeps the backing/batting/front sandwiches together and washes out perfectly.

    Thanks so much for the suggestions. The only one I have not followed up on is the Irwin clips from Home Depot. I have to go there today, so will look at the clamps they have. Although I have ordered some clips from Amazon, they are not scheduled to arrive until Friday (I don't do Prime.) I would like to get going on this quilt as it is a Christmas gift.
