Default closer to border decisions for christmas log cabin...ideas?

I am struggling with borders for this quilt top... it is Kentucky Log Cabin by Judy Martin. The borders on the original pattern are beautiful, but I think they are a little busy for my quilt. This is what I have narrowed it down to...but I am TOTALLY open to suggestions! Please!
I will post a pic of the actual quilt in the next post....can't get the pic to post from the desktop...argh....

I was very drawn to your second combination until I looked at your quilt blocks. They show on my computer as much whiter, more like snowy, and darker cabins. That makes me think that a blue (doors) for the stopper border, then the first wide border (looks like it has more white in it), then maybe the black as the outer. Could you post a pic with the fabrics in that order? I'd, also, like to see, red, first border, then red too.

The second pic with the wider border might make your quit too somber. I should mention that this is the part where I, also, have a problem making a final decision. I have to lay everything out, take pictures and look at the smaller pics to see what I am really going to like the best.

to me, the second and third look the same. that's the one i like... i like both skinny borders to be the same... both black would probably look good too

Yes, Nancy, I messed up! That second pic shouldn't be there! Can I edit the original post?

Not the actual fabrics I will use-will have to purchase border fabrics-but I think I like this...thanks for the input...always helps me to look at it from "afar"! The whites are not as white as they appear on my screen...

I also like the double red border. Very pretty quilt.

I like the last photo with the solid green batik and red inner border/binding. Marbles would also look great. I think something less busy would look great and not take too much attention away from the gorgeous center of the quilt!

I was wondering about a narrow white (lights) border before the red green red. Would make the "wreaths" float.??
