    Default Clotilde of Clotilde Catalog

The last catalog I received from Clotilde, it was announced that she had died in November of 2011.

I'm so sorry to hear that - she's been around for a long time in the sewing world and always had the latest gadgetry and tools and patterns and fabric collections. She made it possible for those of us who lived in the sticks to get great new craft supplies like our sisters in the city could get at the craft and fabric stores. She'll be missed.

I too found the announcement in their latest catalog. It was also stated that Clotilde's is owned by same folks that have Annie's Attic. Hopefully they will keep Clotilde's going. I have ordered fromthem and have always been satisfied.

It is a loss to the sewing community . I do think she either sold or relinquished control of the company a few years ago.
