    Default Clover irons

Another use for a clover iron. I use it to join my batting when I use that iron on tape. Great when quilt is already on frame and I'm just a few inches short on my batting (grin).

So clever! I love my Clover mini iron. So nice not to be burning my fingers anymore & it's great to bring to class to fuse applique.

Just wish I'd have thought about using a pressing sheet from the get-go. I got the sticky stuff off, but there is a ghosted outline of webbing imprinted on my iron. Gosh! I just ruin all my good stuff!

Great tip! Thanks, I'll try it next time!

Have you tried wiping/scrubbing your iron with a baking soda and water paste. I find that gets lots of things off.

Use a Mr. Clean eraser, cold or hot iron. I do it most often with cold. It works.

After my irons are totally cool I just use a Magic Eraser dipped in hot water and squeezed out. No abrasion whatsoever. You can also while it's still warm run it across a piece of not so soft cloth like cheap muslin or terry that hasn't been treated with dryer softener.

Didn't see JT's post. I keep an eraser with my quilting tools!
